How we clean up a green pool
- Test the water and check the pump, filter and chlorinator are working
- Remove leaves and debris, then brush the walls and floor
- Shock-dose to kill the algae and add clarifier or flocculant as needed
- Clean or backwash the filter as the dead algae is removed
- Vacuum and rebalance the water so it stays clear
